When an Florida reptile collector in Ocala, Florida realized his highly venomous Suphan Cobra had gone missing, he alerted the Florida Wildlife Commission according to clickorlando.com. The owner was specifically licensed to own the snake, but had left it alone with an apprentice when it went missing.

The snake, which is highly dangerous by nature, has yet to be found in real life – but it has turned up on Twitter…

Florida officials believe the snake is likely still around the house where it was kept, as the state is in a bit of a cold snap currently, but as the story has gained traction on social media, even the local sheriff joined in on the fun…

So if you’re near Ocala, Florida steer clear of any snakes and make sure to let the authorities know if you see a lost cobra!
