According to Business Insider, "Almost one in 10 American adults admit to losing money in a phone scam in the past year, with an average loss of $430 per victim, according to a new report from TrueCaller. That adds up to a collective $9.5 billion lost." These are the three most common phone scams: the tax scam, the outstanding warrant scam, and the utility bill scam. In many cases, the crook altered the caller idea to make their call look legitimate. So look out for calls like these!
