WATCH: Trailers For Roger Moore's 7 James Bond Films

Though we're saddened by the news of Roger Moore's passing, we are thankful for the many great memories he gave us with his impeccable portrayal of Ian Flemming's James Bond.

From 1973 to 1985, Roger Moore was James Bond.  For many of us, he always will be 007.  In the seven Bond films he starred in he set an incredibly high bar for future actors.

Live & Let Die (1973)

Not only do we meet Roger Moore as 007 for the first time in this film, but we also are introduced to a very young Jane Seymour.  As we can see by the trailer, Bond is on the move in Live & Let Die.

The title track is of course performed by Paul McCartney & Wings.

The Man With The Golden Gun (1974)

This Bond adventure kicks off with a warning for our hero in the shape of a golden bullet engraved with 007.  Bond’s love interests include Britt Ekland and Maud Adams and get to meet Knick Knack played by Hervé Villechaize.

The film’s title track is performed by Lulu

It’s Ski slopes, submarines and jet skis for James Bond in this 1977 classic.  Barbara Bach (aka Mrs. Ringo Starr) is the leading lady and we in this film we’re treated to Richard Keil as “Jaws.”

Carly Simon performed the movie’s title track (Nobody Does It Better).

Bond went to the moon and back in 1979.  Along from the ride with actress Lois Chiles playing Holly Goodhead and returning villain Jaws played by Richard Keil.

Also returning in this Bond film was the incomparable Shirley Bassey performing the title track.

This Bond is for your eyes only as 007 takes us from sandy beaches to ski slopes.  One of the interesting casting choices in this film was pro ice skater Holly-Lynn Johnson who many knew from her first acting role in the movie “Ice Castles.”

Octopussy (1983)

As with all 007 movies, fans couldn’t have been disappointed with the elegant palaces and beautiful women.  Maud Adams, playing the title role, returns for her second Bond film.

The theme song was “All Time High” performed by Rita Coolidge.

View To A Kill (1985)

Talk about great casting!  Who didn’t LOVE Christopher Walken as the villain and Grace Jones as “Mayday?”    Bond’s leading lady this go around was former Charlie’s Angel Tanya Roberts.

Of course, who could the title track was performed by Duran Duran.
