Ronnie Dunn On Social Media: If You're Going To Say It, Stick By It

There's no doubt about it, social media has changed our world. And nowhere is that more apparent than in music. That wasn't the case when Ronnie Dunn began his music career, but he's certainly come to embrace it, sometimes in controversial fashion.

"The growth of social media and its relevance to the music business and just about anything else out there is a cool way to stay in touch with people and you get immediate feedback," he says through his record label. "I feel like I'm lucky I have a pretty well-established Facebook page. I think there was one particular post that not long ago that we actually hit 64 million people. So I don't look for the numbers on the front page to say there's, you know, three million or 10 million people. That's not the important part. The actual important dynamic of using social media is your effective outreach. You've got to be careful what you say, or if you're gonna say it, stand by it."
