Steve "the Lightning Man" Richards was born in Fayetteville and loved it so much he never left! He has a wife, Kristi, and daughter, Lauren, and one bossy little toy poodle, CeCe. His first job was in sporting goods at a department store, but eventually figured out that wasn't for him. Another thing that Steve loves about his job is heading up the WKML Elementary Reading Club! Each week he visits an elementary school class and spreads the joy of reading! He broadcasts live from right inside the classroom during the Don Chase in the Morning Show. The kids love having a big radio star come read to them and the teachers love Steve because he always brings presents! Steve has been with WKML now for over 15 years.
