The NHL’s Nashville Predators are 0-2 against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the final round of the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Nashville is bringing out the big guns to get things back on track.

Country superstar Alan Jackson is playing a free concert on Lower Broadway tomorrow (6/3) in advance of the Predators’ first home game in the final. The performance is part of Broadway Smash: Preds Party with a Purpose, set to take place at Fifth and Broadway facing the Cumberland River.

Despite being a man of few words, he did have some for the occasion. “This is an exciting time for the Predators and the city of Nashville,” he offered in a statement through his record label. “As a fan, I’m proud to be included in their road to the Stanley Cup.”

Country artists have been vocal in the support of the Preds Stanley Cup efforts, literally. Kelly Clarkson, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum and Trisha Yearwood have each helped kickoff recent games by singing the national anthem. The latest rumors as to which country star would deliver tomorrow night’s anthem point to Martina McBride, according to The Tennessean. No official word is yet available from the Preds organization or Martina’s camp.
