If you haven't watched an award show in the past year, it's become a new thing for artists from different genres to collab on stage.

From Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton to Thomas Rhett and Fall Out Boy, people are growing accustomed to country acts hitting the stage with a pop/rock/EDM artist.

With this in mind, no one should be surprised with the list of performances for the 2017 CMT Music Awards. You can expect to see Luke Bryan and Jason Derulo, Peter Frampton and Brothers Osborne, and The Chainsmokers and Florida Georgia Line take the stage during the award show.

FGL and The Chainsmokers actually have a song together, "Last Day Alive", on The Chainsmokers new album. This will be their first collaborative TV debut.

We love to see artists from different genres interact, and we can't wait to watch these performances! Make sure to catch the 2017 CMT Music Awards on June 7 at 8pm EST.
