Wedding trends change quickly. If you’ve ever looked at your parents’ wedding album and noticed big, poofy-sleeved dresses and crazy veils, you know that this is true. This also applies to engagement ring styles.
What was on-trend decades ago isn’t necessarily what brides-to-be covet today. So what kind of bauble do women want to sport on their ring finger now? Well, according to Pinterest, it’s this one, specifically.
The ring has been dubbed the most popular of the year, as it’s been saved nearly 104,000 times by Pinterest users. Its owner is Sylvia Billone, who describes it as an Art Deco-style ring with a rose gold band and a 1.22 karat solitaire diamond.
Lauren Conrad may also be a contributing factor in the rose gold solitaire trend. Her engagement ring from now-husband William Tell is highly coveted and echoes the style of Pinterest’s most popular.
It’ll be interesting to check back in another year and see how trends have continued to evolve.
