The move comes after the "Die A Happy Man" singer racked up 18 sellouts in the U.S., Canada and Europe, not to mention the recent revelation that he and wife Lauren are expecting their first biological child. (They recently adopted daughter Willa Gray from Africa.) The fall stops are listed below. The first dates are on sale now here; details on subsequent dates are expected in the coming weeks.

It's certain that Thomas' star is rising, though he says it's sometimes hard for him to see. "I think you got to be on the outside to know," he says through his record label. "I think for me personally I'm just trying to enjoy the ride and trying to cherish all these great moments because we have gotten to do a lot of cool stuff over the past couple of years, and especially this year getting to headline, and having a baby, and putting a record out is probably the busiest year of my life. But it's a lot of good things I'll remember for a lifetime."
