Joe Nichols is teasing something in a new video posted to Twitter, but we’re not sure what, exactly.

The video opens with Joe sitting in a candle-lit room, coffee cup in hand. “Oh, hello,” the singer says into the camera as the lights come on. “I’m Joe Nichols, and this is a serious reading.” The “Gimmie That Girl” singer then proceeds to read lyrics from Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” from 1992. The video subsequently fades to black before the words “Big Butts. Coming Soon” appear. So what now?

Our best guess is that Joe is releasing a country cover of the song, which he’s been performing live since at least 2012. It’s been rumored as a single release since last year, and we must say, it’s pretty great. Have a listen for yourself below.

Catch Joe perform the song live, if you’re lucky, in Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Texas in the coming weeks. A complete list of upcoming dates can be found here. Stay tuned to Joe’s social platforms for the payoff to his “Big Butts” tease.
