Yesterday, we reported that former NASCAR Driver Shane Sieg had passed away at the age of 34.

Unfortunately, more sad news has surfaced in the racing community. According to the Statesville Record, 33-year-old Michael Adam Wright passed away over the weekend after a motor vehicle accident in Troutman, North Carolina. He died at the scene after being partially ejected from his vehicle.

Wright was a crew member for Michael Annett’s Xfinity Series team, a team owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
