Owen's mom let Jake know that it seems rare for a man or boy to hold the door for her anymore.
In her message, she also said she hoped Jake still held the door open for women.
Jake took the opportunity to share the imessage on his Instagram account, to let his mom know he's still a gentleman -- Thanks to his dad.
He also added, "listen up little boys."
