TMZ is reporting Blake Painter, 38, was found deceased on Friday in his home in Oregon.
Painter appeared in Season 2 and 3 of "Deadliest Catch."
A call came in to the local police department that same day from one of Painter's friends.
The friend told authorities he had not heard from Painter in a few days.
When police arrived at the home, they determined Painter had passed away a few days earlier.
Authorities noted that there was prescription medication and other substances found inside the home.
It is not known at this time if those substances played a role in his death.
Autopsy and toxicology tests are pending.
