Alan Jackson has been forced to postpone his upcoming performances — Citing an illness.

According to Saving Country Music, the country star was scheduled to perform in Virginia and New Hampshire over the next couple of days.

A statement from the venue for tonight’s show confirmed the news.

The announcement was made unexpectedly, as Jackson’s crew and equipment had already arrived in Virginia.

At this time, very little information is known regarding what type of illness Jackson is suffering from.

The next stops along his “Honky Tonk Highway” Tour are scheduled for September.
