According to the country singer, his mother and many of his friends live in Mexico Beach, Florida -- An area hit hard by Hurricane Michael.
The storm struck the Florida panhandle this afternoon, and with a strong storm surge and 155 mile per hour winds, it nearly reached Category 5 strength before making landfall.

It's unclear if his mom evacuated before the storm, but undoubtedly, the storm has had devastating effects on the area.
Bryan, a Georgia native, also asked fans to pray for his home state, as Michael continues to move inland.
Currently, the storm has been downgraded to a Category 1 storm with 90 mile per hour winds.
