Fans of Gretchen Wilson were shocked after she was arrested back in August.

At the time, the country singer had landed at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut and was taken away in handcuffs moments later — Due to a reported incident on the plane.

Wilson had flown to Connecticut to perform at a private show which was slated for the next day.

Now, months after the arrest, Wilson is finally ready to open up about the ordeal.

Because the charges have been dropped, Gretchen is now at liberty to tell her side of the story.

In an interview with Taste of Country, she revealed that there was no issue on the plane.

As Wilson tells it, the reports of an issue between herself and another passenger on the plane were fabricated.

To date, the “other passenger” has not come forward with any claims about this incident.

Wilson does admit that she did exchange words with officers at the scene, which led to her arrest, but it’s not clear why police were called to the airport in the first place.

Either way, Gretchen is thankful for all the love and support from her fans, and is glad to put the misunderstanding behind her.
