Justin Moore had a rough photo shoot yesterday: during the session, he was stepped on by a horse.

Moore posted his damaged leg on Instagram with the caption, “Anything for art! First time in my career I’ve been stepped on by a horse during an album photo shoot. Lol. Hopefully, we got the shot though! New album, Late Nights And Longnecks coming soon!”

Justin is currently working on his fifth album, Late Nights and Long Necks, which is due out sometime this year.

He recently released a new song called “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” about Military and their families.

Justin recently talked about how proud he is to be on the traditional side of country music, “That’s one of the things I’m really proud about our career is, we did a song here or there that was a little different for us, but 99% of what we’ve done has been pretty straight-forward country.  Our lane is a lot more narrow than a lot of people, and I’m proud of the fact that we still are here making music and having success doing it.”

Moore is touring heavily with shows this week in Ohio and Michigan and plays the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on February 12.
