As a long time fan of 90210, I know I’m too old right, I’ve been waiting for a comment from one of Luke’s co-stars, Jason Priestley, and he has broken his silence.Jason Priestley says he’s “in so much pain” after the death of his 90210 co-star Luke Perry.

Priestley posted a note about Perry on Instagram Thursday morning.

  • Priestley wrote, “It’s taken me a couple of days to figure out how to write this. My dear friend of 29 years, Luke Perry, was one of those truly special people who really cared… Luke was not only a star, he was an incredibly bright light that was extinguished far too soon… and that is why I, and so many others, are in so much pain today.”
  • He continued, “If you had the good fortune to know Luke, or to have ever crossed his path, I know you are sad today as well. The candle that burns twice as bright only burns for half as long… you burned oh, so brightly Luke… Goodnight Sweet Prince.”

I watched this show with my family in the 90’s. My wife Vicky and my two daughters all loved the show and it was a weekly family appointment to watch. They dealt with subject matters that meant something to us and of course had lots of fun too. I always remember looking forward to spending time with my family along the Dylan and the gang. I’m not surprised it too Jason a couple of days to figure out what to say and his words seem a fitting tribute to his friend-Randall C. Bliss
