David Bellavia is an American veteran and politician who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Second Battle of Fallujah. Bellavia has also received the Silver Star, Bronze Star, three Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals and the New York State Conspicuous Service Cross.
He was awarded the Medal of Honor at a White House Ceremony on Tuesday.
