As Granger Smith and his wife, Amber, reel from their recent tragedy losing their three-year-old son River, they are learning how to get back to daily life without him. Amber opened up about the process and there is one lesson we can all take away.
“Dumb little things don’t matter anymore.” This lesson is hitting home for me in a big way right now. We don’t need to wait until a loss, a tragedy, or a death to get the message that we should all live every day as if it were our last and to never take a moment with those we love for granted. Appreciate every thing you have. Express gratitude for every thing that you have. And let those important to you know that you love them. Because tomorrow is never promised.
Amber recently posted about her feelings with grief. I would love for you to take a moment and read them because we all experience this in one way or another. Remember to include the Smith family in your prayers.
