Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert are about to embark on their own all-female tours and are speaking about why they chose to go the all-female route. “We have to lift each other up because no one is going to do it for us,” Underwood said. “We have to do it ourselves. We’re all just out there trying to work together, work hard, and show our fans and the industry what we can do.” Maddie and Tae plus Runaway June will be joining Carrie’s tour as opening acts, and Maren Morris and Ashley McBryde will hit the road with Miranda.Carrie’s Cry Pretty Tour resumes on September 10, and Miranda’s Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour kicks off Septemeber 13. Much has been made about how female artists are treated in the country music world, and these all female tour stops should be a good  barometer  of how the fans feel about this issue. I wish them all the luck in the world-RCB
