As a sister, I want to be there for my siblings in any way I can. So when my older sister, Katie, called me crying about the frustrations of motherhood, I felt powerless! I'm not a mom! I can't relate in any way, shape, or form to what she's going through. BUT! I am her sister. And I love her to death.

So what did I say? It was simple really. "You're doing amazing! You're not alone!" Encouragement was all she needed.

You see, Katie had been crying and feeling down because baby Harper was being extra fussy. She was crying non-stop and it seemed like nothing was working. My sister was doing all she could while battling exhaustion. As a parent, you never get the day off!

Even though I'm not a parent, it made me think of Brittany Aldean's latest post about motherhood.
