Combs has been working on new music for a while and released his Prequel Project with a few new songs including his current chart-topper, “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” earlier this year.

The new album will be his first completely new album since his debut, This One’s For You, was released in November 2015

He just recently broke Randy Travis’ record for having an album top the Billboard Country Albums chart by a male artist. Travis’ 1987 album Always and Forever previously held the record for most weeks at number one having spent 43 weeks in the top position. Luke’s This One’s For You has been there for 44 weeks.

Holding the all-time record on the country albums chart is Shania Twain’s 1997 album Come On Over.
