Blake Shelton: ‘God’s Country’ Made Him Want To Record Again

When Blake Shelton celebrated his latest number one song "God's Country" in Nashville earlier this week, he told the crowd that the song reminded him about how much he loved country music.

He said, “I called Scott (Hendricks, producer) and I go, ‘Man, I don’t know where the song came from, but that makes me want to make another record.’ That reignites my excitement for what I do in country music.”

"God's Country" is Blake's 26th career number one song.
