Keith Urban Responds to Death of Producer Busbee

As we reported earlier today, songwriter/producer Busbee, whose given name is Michael James Ryan, died last night (9/29). He was 43.

Busbee worked in Nashville with Maren Morris, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Lauren Alaina, Carly Pearce, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum and Garth Brooks and more.

Keith posted to Instagram this afternoon, "My brother Michael...You brought love and light and music that will live on and travel the world - I feel deeply grateful that our lives came together-and I send prayers of gratitude and peace and love to your spirit - and to your beautiful family. - KU"
