My seven-year-old son shocked my husband and I on Sunday when he said he wants to dress as

Joker for Halloween. He has not seen Joaquin Phoenix's movie, but has seen pictures of him on the Internet. My husband and I are all about freedom of expression and are torn over whether or not to allow our son to portray a character like Joker. My parents blasted me for even considering allowing him to dress as Joker. It's only Halloween. I don't think they should be so serious. Should we allow our son to dress as Joker or not?
