Carrie Underwood wished her friend Miranda Lambert a happy birthday yesterday (11/10) on Instagram.

Miranda herself posted to Instagram on her 36th birthday. She wrote, "Thanks 35. A 'Wildcard' year for sure. Hi 36. #love #life #music #dogs."

Both Carrie and Miranda will be front and center at the CMA Awards on Wednesday (11/13) in Nashville, where they are both nominees. Underwood, of course, will be hosting the show with Dolly Parton and Reba.
