Dolly Parton, Maren Morris, Carrie Underwood Take Over ABC This Week For CMAs

CMA co-host Dolly Parton will be the subject of a special feature on 20/20 tonight (11/12) on ABC.

“Dolly Parton: Here She Comes Again!” with Robin Roberts is an hourlong special airing tonight at 10/9c, bringing viewers an intimate look at the life and career of country music legend Dolly Parton.

ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! will have a lot of country acts this week as well: Old Dominion is on the show tonight (Tuesday, 11/12) and the Zac Brown Band will be on tomorrow ( 11/13). Carrie Underwood will be featured in a skit tonight (Tuesday, 11/12) and Maren Morris will do the same tomorrow. (Wednesday, 11/13). Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs 11:35/10:35pm CT on ABC.

Good Morning America visits Nashville Wednesday (11/13) to celebrate all things country, including a performance by  Luke Combs and appearances by 2019 CMA Awards Vocal Duo of the Year nominee Maddie & Tae as well as Trace Adkins.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
