On Friday (12/13) morning, 65-thousand tickets were sold in less than an hour for Garth Brooks’ May 16 concert at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.
In 75 minutes, 70-thousand tickets were gone, to make it his third sold-out show of 2020. This comes on the heels of similar scenarios in Detroit, Michigan and Charlotte, North Carolina where Stadium Tour concerts (February 22 and May 2, respectively) at the homes of the Lions and the Panthers each sold out in no time, to the tune of 70- and 74-thousand tickets.
Garth said, “Being in this business as long as I’ve been in this business, for me it feels like the whole career is just kinda ‘waking up’ right now. I mean, they’re just startin’ to pop like the arenas did for us for some reason on the comeback tour, so…I cannot wait!”
He added, “It’s going to be a good year! 2020 – I am looking forward to it. More stadiums…more dive bars…and just more havin’ fun!”
