Billy Ray Cyrus has won two Grammy awards for “Old Town Road” with Lil Nas X including Best Music Video and Best Pop / Group Performance. But it was a bittersweet day for Cyrus, and all Americans: Cyrus also addressed the passing of basketball great Kobe Bryant.
Billy Ray posted to Instagram , “So honored to win Best Music Video and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. I’d like to dedicate both to Kobe and his beautiful daughter. Sending my thoughts and prayers to his family and friends during this difficult time. #RIPKobe @lilnasx #OTR.”
“Old Town Road” is also nominated for Record of the Year.
