Taylor Swift has released the lyric video for “The Man” off of her Lover album.
The video portrays a powerful message, illustrating the difference between the hurdles that women have jump through to be on an even playing field with men. Throughout the video, a woman in corporate America is climbing stairs and going through difficult paths to get to her destination. In the end, with the help of another woman, she achieves her goals.
Twitter has lit up since the release of the video. One user writes, “THIS MUSIC VIDEO IS SO POWERFUL AND ITS EXACTLY HOW I FEEL IN MY DAY TO DAY LIFE!
