Which made me think back to a time when a counselor really helped me with this nugget of advice: What is your favorite flower? For me, its peonies. Does that make a rose any less beautiful? A sunflower? Carnation? Tulip? Lily? We can all be different and all be beautiful flowers!
Personal trainer Kelsey Wells also touched on this point suggesting that we don't spend time comparing oceans to sunsets to mountains... each is unique and beautiful. So it is the same with us. We're not meant to be the same and someone else's beauty doesn't take away from your own.
These two powerful ladies serve as a strong reminder that part of our own self care is loving ourselves, accepting ourselves, and speaking positively about ourselves and our individuality!
