Kelsea Ballerini’s album Kelsea will be coming out on Friday (3/20) as planned. Kelsea took to Instagram to explain that she won’t be able to play songs in person as she planned.

In a video she posted, she said, “My album still comes out Friday which I am so excited about. This release week is gonna look a lot different than we had planned for and dreamed of. I really wanted there to be so many opportunities to play these songs for you face to face and hug as many of you as possible.”

Kelsea went on to say that at this time it’s important for everyone to “stay safe and healthy” pointing out that music can help bring peace and calm you when “life feels chaotic.”

She then told her fans that she loves them and while she won’t be able to see them in person, she will be on social media saying “Just holler, you’ve got a friend.”

In response, Carly Pearce wrote, “Sending you so much love and this record will bring so much healing to so many in a time of such uncertainty.”
