North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper says that the state lab has now confirmed the first case of community spread COVID-19 in Wilson County.
That means at least one case has been contracted without knowing how it happened. They had no contact with any known positive tests and had not traveled to a known risk area.
Gov. Cooper also said we are likely to see schools closed longer than originally planned. But that official announcements will come later.
More to come.
