The original in 1987 earned $228 million.  Bring on the new version of “Dirty Dancing.”

According to Deadline, Jennifer Grey is back as the star and now director of a new version of the classic. There aren’t a whole lot of details yet, but the studio, Lionsgate did confirm it on their earnings call.

Get ready to have the “time of our lives” again!
