The Child (aka Baby Yoda) in "The Mandalorian," Season 2.

The premier episode of second season of the hit Disney+ hit, “The Mandalorian” is finally here, as the first episode was added to the streaming service Friday morning, Disney+ announced.

Fans may know the Star Wars spinoff show best for its breakout viral meme star, Baby Yoda (aka The Child), who took the internet by storm in late 2019. With his cute expressions and child-like charm, Baby Yoda captivated fans of the original Star Wars sagas, and welcomed in a host of new fans as well.

“The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire,” Disney said in the release announcement for Season 2.

Season 2 of the show likely can stand alone if you’ve never seen the first season, but a lot of context is added by watching the first season.

We won’t give away any spoilers here, but suffice to say, Season 2 starts off just as great as Season 1, and takes Mando and The Child on a whole new set of adventures.

The second episode of the eight-episode season will begin streaming on November 6, with each episode after that debuting each Friday, according to Disney.
