Carrie Underwood’s New ‘Sunday Night Football’ Opening Debuts
Carrie Underwood’s newest Sunday Night Football opening was revealed Sunday Night before kickoff of the Bears v. Rams game.
This is Underwood’s ninth year opening NBC’s Sunday Night Football coverage. For the past three years “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” has been used based on Joan Jett’s “I Hate Myself for Loving You”.
Previously Underwood’s opening songs included 2016 “Oh, Sunday Night,” based on Miranda Lambert’s “Somethin’ Bad, ” and then “Game On” an original song Underwood co-wrote.
