Scotty McCreery and his epic track, “Five More Minutes” will get the Hallmark Christmas movie magic this year. The song is the inspiration behind a new holiday movie by the same title airing on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on Nov. 20 at 10 p.m. ET.

The movie, starring Nikki DeLoach and David Haydn-Jones, follows the unexpected ways a woman’s holiday wish comes true after finding her late grandfather’s journal.
The 2018 track is about McCreery’s grandfather. He tells Billboard, “That’s my story, but I think people relate to every part of the song”.
