Kelly Clarkson has been announced as a performer at the ACM Awards, on March 7, 2022, in Las Vegas with host Doly Parton and as she shared on Instagram, Dolly will be her main focus in the performance.
Kelly posted, “One word: DOLLY. 👸🏼 That’s right, y’all! I’m so excited to announce that during this year’s @ACMawards, I’ll be performing a tribute to the show’s host @DollyParton! 🎤 Don’t miss the #ACMawards LIVE Monday, March 7, only on @PrimeVideo 🎶.”
Dolly herself responded to the post with a heart emoji.
Clarkson and Parton recently teamed up to record a duet version of “9 to 5” for an upcoming documentary on the 1980 film, which starred Dolly along with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.
