22 years ago in 2000, Dolly Parton hosted the ACM Awards. Back in the hosting spot tonight (3/7), Dolly dedicated tonight’s ACM Awards to the country of Ukraine.
Dolly said, opening the 2022 ACM Awards, “I am not getting political; I’d rather pass a kidney stone to do that. I want us to send our love to our brothers and sisters in Ukraine.”
She added, “so why don’t we just dedicate this entire show to them and pray for peace around this crazy old world.”
