Garth Brooks Announces New Charlotte Stadium Tour Show on July 16

Garth Brooks will play a stadium show in Charlotte this July. WKML has your shot at tickets this week.

You heard it with Don Chase & Sarah first this morning, but Garth Brooks is FINALLY returning to the Carolinas on July 16 for his record-breaking stadium tour.

The top selling solo artist in U.S. history will be in the round at Bank of America Stadium for a 7 p.m. show Saturday, July 16, and WKML wants to help you get to the only stadium show Garth will be doing in the Carolinas.

Don Chase & Sarah will be giving away tickets before you can buy them, around 8:50 a.m. starting Thursday, and going through next Thursday. So, make sure you listen!

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 25 at 10 a.m. sharp. There will be an 8-ticket limit for each order. According to Garth’s team, the ONLY ways you can buy tickets for the show are:

  1. Head to www.ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks
  2. The Garth Brooks Line at Ticketmaster 1-877-654-2784
  3. The Ticketmaster app on your mobile device.

Fans are encouraged to go NOW to the Ticketmaster link and click on “On Sale Tips & Hints” to create an account or refresh your current Ticketmaster account.

Garth was originally supposed to do the Charlotte show in May of 2020. But COVID-19 hit and most of the Stadium Tour was cancelled or rescheduled. After rescheduling the Charlotte show multiple times, it was finally just cancelled until they could settle in for a regular scheduling again.

  • The Logistics

    • Concert is at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022
    • Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte
    • Show is in the round, with full stadium being sold
    • The ONLY North Carolina and South Carolina stadium date!
    • If this is anything like last time, this show WILL sell out

  • The Tickets

    • Tickets on sale 10 a.m., Friday, March 25 SHARP
    • All tickets will be reserved and $94.95, all inclusive
    • 8 ticket order limit
    • No advanced sales

  • How to Get Tickets

    There are only THREE ways to buy official tickets.

    1. Head to www.ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks
    2. The Garth Brooks Line at Ticketmaster 1-877-654-2784
    3. The Ticketmaster app on your mobile device.

  • Create an Account at Ticketmaster

    • Create an account at Ticketmaster in advance and make sure your credit card information is in your account.
    • If you already have an account, make sure to refresh your account in advance.

  • Do NOT Be Late

    • Don’t be late for the 10 a.m. launch…in fact, you should probably be there early. This show will sell out FAST and if you get there late, you could miss out.
    • Head to ticketmaster.com/GarthBrooks for more specifics on the order process.

  • Act Fast

    • Be ready to act fast on tickets. If you delay while you are selecting tickets in Ticketmaster, it’s likely you’ll lose those seats. Find ones you’re good with quickly and buy immediately.

  • Watch Out For Resales

    • Note that resale tickets will start to pop up pretty much immediately for MUCH higher prices. Official tickets are all $94.95.
    • If you miss out on tickets before they sell out, you can probably wait a bit on buying resale tickets. Prices will be highest right after on-sale time and near the show time. Sometime in the middle will generally be cheapest available.

  • BE LOGGED IN!

    • Can’t stress this enough: Make sure you are ALREADY logged in to Ticketmaster and that your credit card info is up to date in the system BEFORE the on sale time.

  • Be Patient

    • Be patient. You may go in to a long queue for tickets, but if you get in the queue, there’s a good chance you’ll get them if you wait. Don’t refresh or back out. You’ll lose your place in line.
