Blake Shelton’s Act Of Kindness For A Disabled Veteran
On the Fourth of July, Blake Shelton was getting ready to do some boating with his family at Texoma Lake near Pottsboro, Texas, when someone told him there was a disabled veteran who was also boating with his family. Blake headed straight for the man to meet him.
The veteran, named Jason Morgan, a stranger to Shelton, posted the meeting on his Facebook. Along with a post of himself and Blake wearing a Hawaiian shirt and a captain’s hat, the man captioned the image, “Great hanging out with Blake Shelton on our boat. Happy Independence Day. We were at the same gas dock, and someone told Blake that a disabled veteran was in one of the boats gassing up, and he came over to meet me. I was very appreciative.”
Several people responded to the post, including one of Morgan’s friends who wrote, “So thoughtful of Blake. He is very down-to-earth. Happy 4th of July, have fun, and be safe.”
