Carrie Underwood Shocks Nashville Bar Patrons With Tom Petty Cover
Over the weekend, Carrie Underwood enjoyed a night out with her girlfriends and their husbands at a Nashville bar named Fox & Locke. She shocked patrons when she joined a Tom Petty cover band to sing a cover of Petty and Stevie Nicks’ collaboration “Stop Dragging My Heart Around.”
Carrie posted a short clip of the performance on her Insta stories, saying she had fun singing with the group called The Heartshakers.
The group posted a clip of the performance to their Instagram, writing, “@foxandlocke Last night, the one and only @carrieunderwood was here and jumped on stage with @theheartshakers to rock the house with a classic!! Like we always say – you never know who will show up here. Thanks for coming by, Carrie. What an incredible Saturday night!”

Later, Underwood posted a photo of herself and her friends at the Nashville bar. She captioned the photo, “Girls’ night! OK, so the guys were there, too, but we were doing our best to pretend they weren’t! 🤪 I am so lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing ladies! Love you guys!!!”
