Every Stars & Guitars Artist Ever in 11 Years in Fayetteville
It’s hard to believe that last year was our 10th anniversary of WKML bringing Stars & Guitars to Fayetteville. But it really was!
Well, actually it’s been LONGER, but you know what happened in 2020. So, while it had been 11 years since our first epic show, that was the 10th time we’ve come together to celebrate the best and brightest in country music.
Some of you may think the show has been around longer than 10 years, and you’re sorta right. WKML held the Singer-Songwriter Showcase for many years, before switching to the current format in 2012. And while the show was similar, Stars & Guitars is just another level of experience.
There are some extremely interesting facts about our artist history that we uncovered in our research.
In 11 years (10 shows) 44 country stars have appeared at Stars & Guitars, and from those stars we’ve had…
- 138 Academy of Country Music nominations, and 26 wins
- 88 CMA Awards nominations and 9 wins
- 24 Grammy Awards nominations and 4 Grammy wins
- 125 combined No. 1 singles as singers and/or songwriters
- Two “American Idol” and one “The Voice” winners played in the show
So let’s take a look back at every show since that 2012 event. Here’s every artist who has ever appeared on stage in Fayetteville for Stars & Guitars!
