4 of the Most Haunted Places in North Carolina
Last week, we told you about the scariest haunted house in North Carolina, but what about the real places that are the most haunted?
What makes a spirit wander so long? I can say many of North Carolina's ghosts lived during some hard times, maybe the need to tell their story?
Take my word for it, I’ve been to many of these, and it made me a believer of the paranormal. Here’s my list of some real haunted places you should check out in North Carolina.
1. Devil's Tramping Ground - Chatham County
According to NC Pedia, this spot near Siler City is a circle path that supposedly "Satan frequents this area on his nightly walks, pacing the circle as he comtemplates his evil deeds."
Check out this photo of it!
2. Mordecai House - Raleigh
Legend has it that this house, which is the oldest still standing at its original location in Raleigh, has multiple ghosts haunting its halls.
3. The Ghost Hiker of Grandfather Mountain
This beautiful state park hides a lot more than you think, as a bearded man has been seen at dusk.
4. The Demon Dog of Valley Crucis
The good people at North Carolina Ghosts say this mountain town has a major supernatural side.
