Carly Pearce is a health nut and keeps relatively healthy with exercise and eating right; however, she does partake of some Halloween candy. This week, she's more than likely dipping into her favorite treats.

As a kid, she did her share of trick-or-treating and shared with us some of her favorite candy. She offered, “The best trick-or-treat candy that you could find are anything Reese‘s, you know, the little Reese‘s pumpkins or whatever. Or Hi-Chews; I’m a big fan. Or Twizzlers."

She added, making a hurling sound, "The worst candy that you could ever have is candy corn.”

Carly plays two shows in Nashville this week at the Ryman Auditorium, starting this evening (10/26) and wrapping tomorrow night (10/27). Then, after being inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame on October 28, she’ll be getting ready for the CMA Awards, where she is nominated for five awards.

She posted to Instagram today, "NASHVILLE! Tonight & tomorrow are so special for me that I made exclusive merch!!! It will be available at both shows. I can’t wait to see you tonight at @theryman."

One excited fan reacted, "Oh, my debit card just got a little sweaty and nervous." Another fan exclaimed, "OH MY GOSH, this is so freaking cool." One more die-hard commented, 'I’m so excited I can’t wait to continue to wear your face everywhere, even when I’m with you."

Yesterday (10/25), she posted to Instagram, "SO excited to be performing a very special song from my record 29: Written In Stone (heart emoji) y'all tune in Wednesday 11/9 on @ABCNetwork#CMAawards."

One fan commented, "This is gonna be awesome; I cannot wait to tune in!" Another fan asked, "Dear Miss Loretta?"

The 2022 CMT Artists of the Year special will air tonight (10/14) on CMT. Filmed on Wednesday night (10/12) in Nashville, CMT honored Kane Brown, Walker Hayes, Luke Combs, Carly Pearce, and Cody Johnson as the five artists of the Year.

They also honored Alan Jackson as the CMT Artist of a Lifetime and Lainey Wilson as the CMT Breakout Artist of the Year.

The "Artists of the Year" is determined by what acts dominated the last 12 months in country music across all CMT platforms and notched number-one albums and singles.

In a press release back in September , CMT's Senior Vice President of Production said, "We are honored to recognize the astounding achievements of this illustrious group of artists over the past Year. Carly, Cody, Luke, Kane, and Walker all represent the vibrant future of the country music format as they defy convention and blaze new trails, breaking industry records and genre barriers. We can't wait to celebrate their extraordinary accomplishments alongside their fellow artists and friends."

Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, and Walker Hayes are first-time CMT Artists of the Year, while Kane Brown and Luke Combs were each honored for the third time (2019, 2021 & 2022).
