Your Fayetteville Area Halloween 2022 Guide – Dates, Times & Events
It's spooky season and that means it's time to find out what's going on in and around Fayetteville for Halloween 2022.
With things (mostly) back to normal now, there are a large number of events going on around our region. And with Halloween itself falling on a Monday, that's creating some confusion in scheduling.
So where should you take your little ghouls and goblins? When should you take them?
We dive in to everything Halloween for the Fayetteville region this 2022 season.

1. Cumberland County Trick-or-Treating - October 31
After MUCH debate last year, Cumberland County has reverted to Halloween night trick-or-treat hours. This applies to Fayetteville AND Hope Mills, and does not impact any of the other scheduled special event below.
So that will be Monday, October 31, 2022 from 6-8 p.m.
2. Cumberland County Safety Tips
Cumberland County Sheriff Ennis Wright has these safety tips for everyone for Halloween.
3. Downtown Fayetteville Zombie Walk & Prom - Friday, October 28
Downtown Fayetteville will go dead on Friday night, with the Zombie Walk scheduled from 6-10 p.m. The actual walk is set for 8 p.m.
4. Hope Mills Trunk R Treat - Friday, October 28
The Town of Hope Mills will hold a Trunk or Treat event on Friday, October 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Rockfish Elementary. They will also honor the Cumberland County MONDAY trick-or-treat hours.
5. Hope Mills Bites, Boos & Brews - Saturday, October 29
Hope Mills has even MORE fun on Saturday, with the Bites, Boos & Brews event at Hope Mills Municipal Park from 4-8 p.m.
6.. Hope Mills Concert at the Lake - Sunday, October 30
And even MORE fun in Hope Mills, this time on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m., with the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, street performers, vendors and food trucks all at the Hope Mills Lake, presented by Hope Mills Prime Movers.
7. Halloween at the BOO-Tanical Garden - Oct. 27-30
The Cape Fear Botanical Garden is going all out for this party. Note advanced purchase tickets are required.
8. Downtown Fayetteville Trick or Treat - Monday, October 31
This special event will be a walking trick-or-treat time throughout Downtown Fayetteville from 5-7 p.m.
9. WKML and 96.5 BOB FM Trunk or Treat - Saturday, October 29
WKML and 96.5 BOB FM will be on location at Cadillac of Fayetteville from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 to give your little ones all the candy!
10. Foxy 99 Halloween Take'ova - Saturday, October 29
Foxy 99 will be out at Super Beauty World off of Bragg Blvd. with all the candy you can handle!

11. FAST Trick-or-Treat Bus Event - Monday, October 31
The Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST) will host the first annual Trick-or-Treat event for Fayetteville residents on October 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the FAST Transit Center, 505 Franklin Street. This event is free and open to the public.
Families that would like to participate in the spooktacular event will need to obtain tickets from the registration table before adventuring on the Halloween-themed buses. Each bus will be decorated with FAST employees distributing candy.
Costumes are encouraged, and participating children will have an opportunity to win prizes from raffle drawings to the costume contest.
Live entertainment will be provided by DJ G-Moniy from Foxy 99 for residents to enjoy.
A table will be set up for those interested in employment opportunities. FAST offers CDL-B licensed transit operators a $1,000 sign-on bonus. More information will be provided at the table.
The City follows Cumberland County’s schedule for trick-or-treat activities, which is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to accompany young children while enjoying safe Halloween activities.

Head out to Dirtbag Ales Farmers Market starting at 2:30 on Sunday, October 30. Tickets are $10 cash per family.
