Don Chase Looks at Some of His Favorite Magazines Still in Print

As of April, you will no longer see Entertainment Weekly, InStyle, Eating Well, Parents, Health and People en Espanol on your favorite magazine racks. The popular magazines are being eliminated by their parent company, Dotdash Meredith.

Now, don't despair. Fans of the above publications can still access the content online, fortunately, as the company said they will be expanding the digital footprints of all of the properties.

We all can expect more media owners to follow this digital trend in the future.

But there are still a number of great magazines we all love in print. Here's a few of my favorites - some still here, some gone - from over the years.

Readers Digest

This was always my mother's favorite magazine. It's actually still in print!

TV Guide

Somehow, this is still around. Everyone I knew used to subscribe to this.

Southern Living

My personal favorite magazine and has been for years is Southern Living. Once you pick it up, you may not be able to put it down.

The Farmers Almanac

And I cannot leave out The Farmers Almanac. My grandparents not only had the magazine but also had the Farmers Almanac calendar on the wall.
