The mall announced that Main Event will be part of the Sears redevelopment project, currently underway, and would open in late 2023.
"Cross Creek Mall is excited to announce the addition of Main Event to the property’s tenant mix and marking the entertainment brand’s entrance in North Carolina," Cross Creek Mall said in a Facebook post. "The addition, which is part of the property’s Sears redevelopment project, is set to open in late 2023."
Main Event is a Texas-based entertainment complex, featuring bowling, ropes courses, laser tag, billiards, arcade games and more.
"The first Main Event center opened in Lewisville, Texas, in 1998 because the founders believed that families deserved a better place than the league-driven, dusty bowling centers of the past," the company said on its website. "They developed an idea that became the first of its kind - a haven for families to share in a variety of activities like laser tag, gravity ropes, arcade games, billiards, and more, all under one (very big) roof."
The company has locations in 17 states, primarily in the South, and the Fayetteville location will be the first in North Carolina. The closest current locations are in Georgia.
"Main Event offers a unique “Eat.Bowl.Play.” experience featuring state-of-the-art bowling, multi-level laser tag, thrilling high ropes adventure courses, captivating game rooms featuring the latest video and amusement, stylish billiards, energetic bars and high-quality restaurants. In addition to providing free wi-fi, guests rave about the superior value of activities including happy hour specials, eat & play bundles, and the birthday, private and corporate parties/events. Our 45,000- to 75,000-square-foot family entertainment centers provide plenty of free parking and unrivaled entertainment and dining experiences, all at a great value."
Main Event has a full menu with burgers, pizza, desserts and more. They also have birthday party packages, corporate events, and school or group events.
The company was purchased by Dave & Busters - a similar entertainment chain - earlier in 2022. Dave & Busters is focused more on adults, while Main Event is more family oriented.

Friday Night Country Artists

Ashland Craft
ASHLAND CRAFT is among CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2021 and Pandora’s Country Artists to Watch 2021, American Songwriter claims, “there’s a new country badass in town, and her name is Ashland Craft,” also praising, “this girl has star quality flying out of her boots.” Featured on HARDY's HIXTAPE: Vol. 2 with Brothers Osborne on “I Smoke Weed,” CMT’s “‘can’t miss’ country star on the rise” opened for Ashley McBryde’s THIS TOWN TALKS TOUR in 2022, adding to her résumé alongside previous supporting slots opening for Zac Brown Band, Luke Combs, and Morgan Wallen. Discovering her honky-tonk spirit while cutting her teeth at bars in her South Carolina hometown, Craft buzzes under the influence of musical heroes Def Leppard, Chris Stapleton, Bonnie Raitt, The Chicks, and Sheryl Crow.
David Nail
David Nail had a wild string of success in the past 20 years in country music. With two No. 1 hits on his resume, and a string of others you'd be surprised didn't top the charts. "Whatever She's Got," "Let it Rain," "Red Light," "The Sound of a Million Dreams," and so many more songs helped cement David's place as a star.
Saturday Night Rock Artists

Lit
It would be virtually impossible to not at least be AWARE of Lit's massive hit song "My Own Worst Enemy," but for those in the rock scene, there are plenty of other big hits to choose from.
Buckcherry
Two of the biggest hits on rock radio in 2006 and 2007 came from Buckcherry. "Sorry," featured in the video above, had large crossover chart appeal. And then the song that's gone 4x Platinum for the band... "Crazy Bit*h." It's an impossibly catchy earworm.
Sunday Night's Tribute Band

Who's Bad: The Michael Jackson Experience
Heralded by many as the top Michael Jackson tribute band out there, this is a musical experience you won't want to miss.
