Tim McGraw has answered the call that a 37-year-old Florida resident named Michael Hugo made after he was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in April 2022. Hugo told a Florida TV station that he might not live more than a year and is asking Tim for a favor. He wants to film a duet with him of McGraw's song, "My Little Girl," to play at his daughters, who are 6 and 7, weddings in the future.
Hugo told WCVB TV, "I did the daddy-daughter dance in Wellington, and that was awesome. That kind of made me think, 'Man, I want to dance with my kids at their wedding.'"

McGraw posted to his Instagram last night (3/8) about the story and was in the video along with the family. Tim said, "Hi guys, I am here with the Hugo family. I'm glad we're all here together, and we're gonna make this happen; we're gonna work this out."
McGraw captioned the video clip, "Thanx to everyone who shared Mike Hugo's video on social media and tagged me in the comments. So glad we were able to actually get together in person, meet this amazing family, and make it happen! Mike is saving the videos for his daughters' future weddings... what a special thing to be a part of."
Many fans reacted to the touching post, including one who wrote, "This has to be one of the kindest and honorable things someone could do. Tim, I have the utmost respect and gratitude for you. You are one of a kind. I know you are an earth Angle sent from God. Thank you for making this beautiful family's dreams come true. God Bless you forever!!"
Another fan commented, "Tim McGraw is amazing...God Bless him for doing this!" One more fan said, "You are such a good man!"
